Is it normal to have "daymares"?

I get these things I call daymares because i don't know what else to call them. Basically they are like nightmares I have during the day when I am awake.

I see horrible things. I see people killing me. I see myself killing people. I see me cutting myself up. I see scary, shadowy figures following me.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Normal. I think we get like this when were extremely bored or sad, it's part of the human experience. Don't let it make you thunk too negative no matter how dark and scary the thoughts, it's part of our imagination.

You're not alone- I often experience the same thing you're going through, usually multiple times a day. For those of you who have never had one, you've probably had a daydream before. You know, when you just zone out and get totally caught up in your thoughts. This is the exact same thing, except it's about the most morbid range of subjects you can imagine. It's a bizarre rush, and I'd say it's relatively normal.

This is not logical. It can not happen for no reason.Sounds like something affected you heavily.Did you watch 7 horror films at 1 night or something?

I haven't had this happen to me, but I think you should open up to a therapist. Are you asleep during the day? Or are they more like "Hallucinations"?

The problem is I really cannot tell. Sometimes I will see an entirely different setting I see in my head, but others I see exactly the setting I am looking at with the frightening element added in. If I had to choose I'd say it's more my mind getting carried away than hallucinations.
