Is it normal to have crushes on people you don't know?

Most of my crushes had been on guys I didn't know, and even though I wanted to get to know them, I was always too shy to approach them.

For example,
My biggest crush was on this one guy in high-school for 4 straight years. I knew a little about him, but there was always something about his presence that turned me on to him.

I liked the mystery of it all.

So, is this normal?

    Completely normal! It's almost easier to idealize someone who you don't actually know. They basically become blank, albeit physically attractive, canvas for you to project all of your fantasies on- makes em darn near perfect crush material.

    I once saw a flying sasquatch. He noticed i was starring at his 6pack so he pulled his car over and slowly unplugged it. He turned to me and in a deep voice said "the names Squatchy Jones, but most folk just call me Todd." i was unable to form complete sentences as i was far too overwhelmed with lust. I just shook my head in acknowledgement and began to sweat profusely. He then said "seeya kid'" and began to skate off into the moonlight releasing bright neon butterflys that formed a perfect shaped heart and inside the heart said "BRB" just before exploding into lucky charms... I've never been the same since & every night i still look to the sky waiting... for Squatchy jones </3

    If you answered yes, then you are correct. It's perfectly normal and it's nothing to question. Most people have developed crushes on someone they don't know whether it's a classmate, co-worker, or celebrity.
