Is it normal to have crushes on anime and rpg game char.?

Normal, but man that means your set your standards for a mate pretty bleeding high, I mean I've always wanted to have certain characters as SO's but for the love of god I realized that until virtual reality, or science gets a bit more out there. I'm stick with what I got.

Come on, is it normal? It shouldnt be but I say it is cause I know that fiction is always better than reality, but you should know that it is just that!! FICTION!! you should try to focus on reality a little more and realize noone is perfect and will never be perfect looking, I am sure you can keep that in your head and lead a life of liking real guys too, maybe if you find a real guy then you will realize that the feelings they give you are better than the looks, do you have a boyfriend?

This is totally and completely normal!!! Seriously, no different than getting attracted to someone you see on tv. Little tidbit on me: sexy anime pics do more for me than porn. I have no interest in any kind of porn, I find the whole thing distasteful and uninteresting and a hundred other disgusting things. But from 13-15 (before I got a gf) I'd beat it to whatever Google showed me haha.

You know, I ask myself this question at random times. Lol When I was in middle school I fell in love with Haruko from FLCL (which btw is one of my fav shows) and Asuka/Rei from Evangelion. But now years later being introduced to soo much anime/manga I cant choose...Lol not sounding nerdy or anything hahaha...ha....*sigh*

it is normal I feel in love with Tifa from FF7 and desparetly wanted to look like sephiroth for many years. its because with RPG games you basically live their life with them you experience their feelings and can relate to a certain extent, you choose their destiny and with rpg games the story nearly always has themes of love and emotion embedded in it. this is so many of the FF series for example were so popular people loved Cloud and the guys some people even loved the turks because there were cool badies but they wernt real badies they were just doing their job that they werent that into. its wierd but its normal once you move on from the game you will get over it. or go to japan and you will find a computer game looking character over there they have some realy funky stuff!

lol! ofcourse it is. i remember having an attachment to tifa, dagger, kagome from inuyasha. and many other charicters from many other animes and games. even male charicters, not in the sexual sense but actuly careing about them. its the magic of the fantasy. its what made arise death so painful, grown men cryed to it. what made lelouch's death scene so beautiful and c.c.'s speach so heart warming. its especialy what makes us want a crazy studant ceareal killer that just writes names down to forge a new world and be god of it, live. *Yagami Light*. most dont admit it but we all have attachment to charicters in movies, books, games and so on. 100%% NORMAL

Oh, this is more normal than you realize.
Just go take a look at fanfictions people write about animes. It's ok to fantasize about characters. That's completely normal.
And you'll grow out of your un-attraction to real guys.
You'll probably end up being a Japan-o-phile or someone obsessed with the Asian culture in general and only be attracted to those men b/c they look closer to the characters you like.
Or maybe you'll start being attracted to little emo guys.
It can go many different ways.
