Is it normal to have crazy mood swings?

Ever since I can remember I have wide variations in my day to day moods. Some days I'm crabby and bitter, one day, I'm sad, crying and depressed, and the next I'm all bubbly and cheerful and smiling. Most people have no idea because I manage to keep it all to myself. Some days when I'm feeling really blue I consider suicide pretty seriously, but the next day I'm like "why the hell was I feeling like that that, I'm glad I didn't go through with that" But I only feel that depressed like once a month so it's not a big deal.

I feel like that all the time. Some days my mood swings are worse than others. It's rare that my mood is stable, but I cherish the times when it is.

You mention your more depressing of days occurring about once a month. Perhaps, making an assumption you are female, this happens close to the start of your menstrual cycle? If you are not a female, I apologize, and it could always be some sort of hormonal imbalance anyway.
I always get bouts of sadness to a lesser severity than what you experience, but a sadness nonetheless. If you are truly concerned for yourself and think it is possible you may take your thoughts to a new height at some point, perhaps you should get professional assistance so you can get some sort of treatment to calm your emotions into a mild state. I wish you luck and hope for the best.
