Is it normal to have crap way up at the top of your crack???

Sometimes when I take a dump, I notice that as I wipe, there is the need to wipe to the top of my crack. Now I know I was spotless clean before hand. I use cottonelle moist ass wipes, and only takes 2, 3 tops to be squeaky clean stem to stern. So when I next drop a deuce, I occasionally need to wipe way higher up my ass than should be needed. Even a firm, non smearing, clean (as far as shit goes) sometimes necessitates a longer swipe. I don't get it. My asshole is low. Why is crap up there? No it doesn't leak. No staining on boxer briefs, and am positive it was clean before.
