Is it normal to have conversations with celebrities in my head?

I often imagine myself having conversations with my favourite celebrities (usually musicians I really admire, but occasionally actors or writers as well), telling them about how my day was or certain issues, interests, or projects in my life. I've done this since I was a kid but I never grew out of it; I have daydreams like this nearly every day.

For me it was more a self-adoring thing. I use to daydream about myself being interviewed, but sometimes I did imagine having creative discussions with other artists and writers.

Kind of, I think about what I would say and what they might say if I was interviewing them.

I go on chat shows quite a lot. Jonathan Ross, Chelsea Handler, Graham Norton, Jimmy Fallon, etc...I talk about all the movies I'm working on and other projects. Very strange really.

I like to daydream about my favorite fictional characters a lot. I consider them to be my imaginary friends. I used to talk to them too but I haven't done that for about a year.

I tend to daydream scenes from imaginary films / television - it's fun trying to think up dialogue quickly without a real idea of any narrative (it tends to be pretty dark and angry stuff).

I like my daydreams to be entertaining and exciting - telling a celeb about my day is an insult to my imagination :P It'd be very boring for me.

One of the many forms of talking to myself that takes place daily. Normal.
