I've never had a hamburger with coffee. Actually, I don't think that I've ever had a hamburger. The combination does sound fine to me. I tend to think of drinks as being very versatile.
I often have a coffee with my hamburger, we're quite good pals actually. We go out with our wives to restaurants but we never have burgers. You only make that mistake once
I've never noticed americans drinking coffee with hamburgers or beer in paper cups (though plastic cups, are common with kegs) Maybe I'm just not paying attention?
Seems slightly odd to me too, although coffee with pasta seems completely normal. It's just what we're used to. I've never understood why (some) Americans drink beer out of paper cups, but it's just culture. We don't all have to act the same way.
Every time you tell me what you've eaten, it's something I like. I don't know if I should kidnap you as my chef, or just steal your food. :P
Can't see much wrong with the combination to me. You can buy both at McDonald's, so it seems convenient. See thoroughly normal.
