Is it normal to have black blood

I started my period a week ago... And I'm having this dark black brownish discharge like left over its been happening for a few days ... Is this normal and when will it stop ?

    It's normal. I usually get light pink which goes to the main event (think Mortal Kombat-esque) and then when it finishes it's a dark brownish colour.

    Probably tmi but heck this is the site for being anon lol XD

    I thought the title meant something else... haha.

    Normal it's dried/old blood from your last cycle.

    As long as it's not foul smelling or anything it's okay. Don't stress too much if it lasts a little longer than average.
