Is it normal to have bad breath in the morning

so for the past few day...in the morning i wake up with bad breath..i brush my teeth at night but it still smells bad in the morning and i was wondering if this happens to anyone else or if its normal.....

    Remember to brush your tongue way in back. A tongue scraper from your local drugstore really helps as well.

    I did have bad morning breath when i was still smoking. Now i've quit for a few months (hopefully forever) and i have way fresher breath even in the morning :)

    Yeah it's normal xD But here's a little advice: rinse your mouth when you wake up, cause if you brushed your teeth before going to sleep you have dead bacteria all over your mouth LOL. My dentist told me that, I was so grossed out and I do it all the time now.

    It's strange cuz it happens to some people and not others. Its beyond me how some people make out without brushing their teeth

    This is normal and happens to everyone. While you sleep, saliva production decreases and the mouth becomes dry. This allows the bacteria in your mouth to thrive. You might get less of a smell if you floss and rinse with mouthwash at night.
