Is it normal to have an urge to look my dandruff under microscope ?

As the question says, i would like to pluck dandruff particles from my head ( its kind of an OCD ) and put it on a bright surface, like a paper. I get excited if I get bigger particles. I get so tempted to do research over them by putting those pieces under a microscope and magnifying them to the largest possible extent and looking under it ! it kind of urges to me know more about my dandruff, the dark spots in it, etc. I get a kind of happiness if my fingers could grope over and find a big piece of dandruff and I poke to see what is in it, with a pencil. Is it kind of bad ? anyone would do it ?! tell me about your experiences. my nails scratch a lot of dandruff !
