Is it normal to have an online friend trust you?

Ok i met this chick online, usually talk for hours, and sometimes she tells me lots of her personal stuff I mean lots. I know her pretty well and we both know what each other look like( we talk through skype, msn, myspace) Sometimes ill talk to her real life friends. She'll then tell me that she only trusts me and her bf and she claims that i had gotten her and her bf together, she also says that ive helped her relax more and do things that help her with her life like meditation and how i got her to stop drinking alot and help her stop cuttng herself through relaxation, She trusts me ALOT basically and i just want to know, Is it normal?

Yes. You're fucking listening to her. It's much easier to trust someone who's too far away to mess with your life. That doesn't mean you can't mess with her feelings. You'd be a fucking a-hole if you did that though. The question is, do you trust her?

Its normal, but not because she knows you.

Your her anonymous sounding post. You're the guy she can tell ANYTHING to, and it doesn't really matter, because you're only inside her computer. You might find she'd wind back ALOT if she met you in person.

Girls need to talk about things to sort them out (it has to do with the larger communication brain section in females I think). She doesn't want to tell her "Real" friends because it could have consequences. With you, there isn't a consequence.

I used "" for "REAL" friends because in this case you're more of a friend to her than any of those other people, just by virtue of being virtual.

Or I could be completely wrong.

Just remember, she trusts you a LOT, don't let her down. Every call you make affects your man brand, stay classy gentlemen (I saw that on an add once, but its a very wise statement).

Regardless, it definately not not normal.
