Is it normal to have an extremely hairy asshole?

Ok. I dont know about you guys but ever since i hit puberty i've had a huge amount of ass hair. at first i thought it was normal but when kids started noticing it hanging out the leg of my speedos during swimming i became very self concious about it. I was wondering is this normal?
