Is it normal to have an erection without even thinking about sex?

A week ago I was taking a quiz in school. I then was shocked when I realized I had had an Erection. This has happend more then once and I am starting to become concerned. I was'nt thinking about girls , sex , or any other type of love at the moment , but yet it had happend. Is this normal?

    i think it just not normal thing.
    i thing it's dangerous to those who in vole in it plz consult to your doc. some time it is also possible you are exploit some super natural power such as (fairy), u plz don't laugh on it bye take care

    this happens to me its really embaressing.
    my dick used too be little so nobody noticed but now its quite big and i keep getting them like every 3 hours and then coz i got 1 i think about sex wich makes it last longer then i get stuck in an endless loop lol. its very normal it just means you have a lot of male hormones
