Stretch marks are certainly normal, but not very common on people of a healthy weight. They seem to be hereditary and slightly more common in females than males, like cellulite. Some people hit their growth spurt during adolescence but grow so fast their skin can't keep up with their bones, and the underlying dermis tears, and you see this on the surface as purplish "striae" or stretch marks.
Stretch marks are unfortunately permanent, just like scar tissue. However, all stretch marks fade with time, and can be lessened with laser treatment and bio-oil. Make-up can also be used to hide them, if you're self-conscious about them. Because you seem to be prone, avoid rapid weight loss or weight gain, as you could easily get many more new purple ones.
Hay, y dont wee al typ3 liek we all illiterate an shit, ay?
If you want to post something, make it legible next time. Mind if I throw a dictionary in your face?
It's normal and it's genetic. Some people have huge growth spurts, some women grow large breasts and wide hip bones (which makes them looks sexy and hot when they also have a good-sized firm butt, like Kim Kardashian - I have tiny hips which looks good but I do love her body.) Certain skin types and tones show stretch marks more as well. I'm not talking about pregnancy. Excessive stretch marks can occur when women use pregnancy an excuse to overindulge while not exercising. Make sure you buy your bathing costume with care.
It's normal and almost everyone has them somewhere! They might be purplish at first but in time they'll fade to skin color. They also shrink a little bit in time too. Don't worry about it--no one else is noticing!
Yes it's normal and no you can't remove them, sorry. They may fade somewhat over time. I got them on my biceps when I was a teen because I worked out a lot. Over the years they have faded to the point where they aren't red anymore, but you can still see them.
When I was around 15 or 16 I started bench pressing with nautilus style equipment. It wasn't long that I noticed stretch marks in my chest/armpit area because of rapid muscle growth. I was really skinny as a teen.
