Is it normal to have alot of pubic hair and to shave down there?

In my 'ladies region' I seem to have alot of pubic hair. I'm 16 and I worry about it alot, it grows out onto my thighs a bit like if I was wearing my knickers and hadn't shaved it you would see it sticking out the sides. I also think it grows quite high too... Also, this may sound disgusting but I get a bit of hair inside my bum crack.. Is this normal for a girl of my age? I am very ashamed of it and I have never been undressed infront of a guy because I worry about it..
Another thing, since I started to get pubic hair I have always shaved down there, when I was younger it was just because it felt natural to shave it off and it wa less itchy and cleaner etc, but now I worry that this is strange behaviour because when I ask my friends they say that they've never shaved it. Would a guy think this is strange? Would I look like a 10 year old? Also, because the hair grows out a little onto my legs when I shave it off with my razor , because it is an angle and the razor is meant for straight lines, it kinda pulls the hair out wrong and leaves little red spots which looks weird and i feel like I look like i have a weird vaginal infection or something. So I'm not sure wht to do, to leave it alone to grow where the spot things go away because I don't touch it, or shave it and get these spot things?? Do any other girls do this or get this and do guys think shaving is weird?

    This sounds like a troll but here goes.
    I dk where you're from but the norm where I am is for ladies to shave their bits. I'd say the majority like it shaven but there are some who like a bush. Also, since it's fully grown out, I'd reccomend trimming it with scissors first then whipping out the razor to finish it off because it is painful to shave when the hair is that long.

    yeah, i'm the same way.
    I shave every so often on the sides because I don't like it showing, but other than that, I usually trim it with scissors.
    As for shaving completely, if you like it, then go for it. Plenty of guys like either way, and some don't really care. Lots of people seem to think that shaving is the norm, because that it what they tend to see in porn and such, but from what I've heard, this isn't really true.
    Also, I'm pretty sure that the red spots are from the hair kind of being yanked out? I think because the skin is more sensitive down there, it's easier to irritate it. I'm not really sure how you or I could prevent this, except to maybe have some lotion meant for sensitive skin on hand to soothe the skin afterwards? Sorry I can't be of more help!
