I have been married for 10 years and it's absolotely amazing! It gets better with every day that goes by. We are devoted, in love, have great sex and do everything together.

We argue once in a while but it's not a big deal and it usually leads to us coming to understand eachother better in the end. We've been through some real struggles as well and we're quite poor so it's not like we live this fantasy life with no problems. We love our life and we manage well even with having very little. I guess we don't see it as having problems but rather challenges and we always overcome.

I rarely hear good things about friends and family members relationships. It seems like it's mostly complaints and problems and some outright say they hate their spouse. A lot of them dread going home!

    It is normal. It's also normal to compare yourself to other couples and believe you're superior to them.

    Keep in mind, people like to complain. It relieves tension and isn't necessarily a true reflection of the status of their marriage.

    Keeping a relationship strong after such a long time is a rarity these days. But try not to brag about it too much. I've seen a lot of people being very hateful towards couples lately. It's like people want other people to be single...

    We have been married much longer. Just put two kids through college (they both have jobs as well - and don't live in our home)We have been fortunate to respect each other all along the way. She has her special things that I respect and she leaves me do my thing with cars. I couldn't ask for a better relationship. I am blessed.

    It's sad now people have to ask if it's normal today? That's how it's supposed to be. However, this generation's society is so fucked up, that this is actually anything but normal. That's why I say fuck relationships. I can't even get a girl to like me anyway, so I'm not gonna waste my time just to be unhappy in the end.
