You never know when you might need to warm up a pop-tart.

Having a toaster in the bathroom sounds very dangerous, especially if it's near the sink or the bathtub/shower.

Yeah I was a bit concerned about that myself.
He did electrocute himself before when he stuck his fingers
      in a light socket.

Maybe an inside joke? Or OCD if he's weird anyway.

      I don't think it was a joke.
OCD hmm maybe... he does do some random weird stuff now and then like if i bring him shopping he will shout random things at the top of his voice and then have a really serious look on his face as if nothing happened.Or anytime he sees a woman his tongue hangs out and he makes weird noises.Sometimes he gallops like a horse for no reason.

    Doesn't everybody?
Gee, even though I have to turn on an inverter to run the thing, if I want a piece of toast when I'm on the can, I don't want to run to the kitchen with stuff dripping out my ass, do I? Nope, damn it, I want my toaster right there within easy reach, two pieces of toast pre-loaded and ready to go.
And when I wake in the wee hours of the morn and feel a bit peckish? I don't want to wake all the way up, or (heaven forbid) wake my wife and send her to get toast from the kitchen, so I just want to roll over and voila, toast (and a few more crumbs in the bed).
However, having a toaster in the living room does seem a bit overboard, to me, but to each his/her own.

'two pieces of toast pre-loaded and ready to go'

Why would you pre-load toast into a toaster? Bread maybe...but toast? That's stupid. Just turn up the settings on the first toasting, then you wouldn't have to re-toast your toast.

That newly designed electric mousetrap looks a lot like a toaster.

You absolutely, positively cannot go without a toaster in the outhouse. Sometimes them pesky hillbilly kids will wire the door shut while your a talking with the ancestors and its the middle of winter! A toaster could save your life!
