Is it normal to have a small uterine length during pregnancy

So I went to the doctors today and I'm 22 weeks 4 days and I haven't had an ultrasound yet, but they measured me and I was small for how far along I was. Does that mean my baby will have problems, such as Down syndrome or something like that? Is it normal for women to be small like that?

You ask us? You ask the people of IIN a serious question in regards to your unborn child and impending pregnancy?

YOU CHOOSE TO ASK US, BUT DON'T THINK TO ASK THE DOCTORS YOU SAW TODAY?

    Baffling.

Not the problems in baby. It's in ur uterus size. You may try caesarean for both ur health

Down's is chromosomal. Your baby would have it from conception and it's nothing to do with uterine length.

It probably means the conception date was miscalculated. Didnt the doctor tell you that when they measured you? As well as other risk factors you might have and the whole lineup of tests you can take? Also, it isn't very accurate to measure the outside. An ultrasound will give you a better detail of the size of things. I imagine you should get one soon if you want to learn the sex of the baby.
