Is it normal to have a reoccuring dream about the egyptian god horus?

If this were my dream, I would the it as fear of death. Horus is the protector from evil, and Anubis weighs your heart after you die to see whether you were good or bad. The doorway to me is the doorway to the afterlife. The fact that it's a recurring dream, means that I'm not getting the message. There's something I have to do. In this case, I think I would tell a therapist, because the intense evil I fear is my own. Hope this helps.

well, I often dream of Khonsu, not the one who is described at the era of Ramses, but the more ancient one, 'he who lives on hearts'.. i can't say that i don't like it, but the fact that in those dreams, we always end up both in one body, killing someone, kind of disturbs me a little..

and it's in part because of this that i started to translate a part of the Coffin Texts to find that indeed, he was believed to eat the hearts of men and kill the pharaoh's ennemies (the last part is explained in utterence 273 of the Pyramid Texts)

Ok well since im an Egyptian , i think Anubis is a bad guy to dream of , i think DADNSCAL's explanation is really reasonable and yes its suppose to be something like a vision or a message it has something to do propably with a bad deed or something you done before . For tge evil you feel in your room you might think this is silly but maybe something is hunting you

I recommend checking out Egyptian mythology and seeing where that leads you. Also, you might want to check out Robert Bruce's book on Astral Dynamics. He talks about that paralysis feeling if I'm not mistaken.. Basically, you're in the middle between a lucid dream and a non-lucid dream, which makes you feel stuck, or paralyzed as you described it. It happens, it's normal. If you can get beyond that fear, and just rest without being terrified, you'll probably have that lucid dream.
