Is it normal to have a relationship with someone three years younger?

I'm an 18-year old senior girl in high school. I work in the yearbook committee, and this year we got a lot of freshman who joined. There's this one freshman boy (he's 15, btw), who my friends told me liked me. I didn't believe them, until he asked me out. I said yes, and we've been hanging out for a month now, and he's pretty cool. Admittedly, he's also very cute, and I think I genuinely like him.

Is it normal for a senior girl to go out with a freshman boy? A lot of people told me they thought it was weird, but a lot of boys in my grade have girlfriends who are freshmen or sophmores.

What's your opinion on it?

that age difference isn't too big. as long as you're on the same maturity level it's fine.

Mentally, at that age three years is a HUUUUUUGE difference. Think back to how different and immature you were freshman year compared to now as a senior. I'm not saying you shouldn't date, but I've gone down that road, and looking back it was one of the worst mistakes I've ever made.

Wow, haven't heard about too many, if any, senior girls dating freshmen guys. Yeah, it's mostly guys dating the freshman girls is a norm. But if the 2 of you really like each other and share common interests then go for it. Best of luck and best wishes on your friendship.

Nowadays, nothing is too weird or too stupid to try out...Because we should all know that someone out there in the world has had the same experience your going through...try it, make a good thing come out of it and have that experience you've never had in your life...life is too damn short!!!

It doesn't matter as long as you both like each other and want the relationship
