Is it normal to have a relationship with someone 16 years younger

I am completely head over heels with a man 16 years younger than me. We share the same likes and dislikes for the most part. We enjoy each others company. We love spending time together. He makes me relaxed in a way I have never been before. We are comfortable being quiet together or in a group visiting. The sex is good. Not amazing, but good. My worry is that when I'm 60 he will only be 44. That's when I get weirded out. At 45 and 29 it doesn't seem so strange.

Yes, you will look old at 60, and he will just look even more charming at 45. I think the anticipation of that day would turn most women off.

However, if you are already the non-conventional sort, who dates much younger men, then why not be the sort that doesn't need a conventional definition (marriage & everlasting happiness) of a relationship too. Your relationship may not last years into the future, but why does it really have to? Enjoy the moment.

Enjoy the moment and forget about the future but if you're planning to get married and start a family then he's not the right guy for you. The age gap is so huge.

One more thing, if you're rich and he's after your money then dump him in the trash can. Sorry, the last point is just a guess, I don't know what he's like.

I'm 22 and dated a single mom who was 31. Not exactly the same as your situation. But the differences between a 22yo and 31yo with a kid are probably a lot more than someone who's almost 30 and you, who's 45.

She was a lot more fun than the girls my age, she was actually somewhat intelligent and reasonable (unlike the girls my age), she was very caring/nurturing, and was a lot better in bed (sex and cuddling) than girls my age.

It didn't work out, she was the one who broke it off, not me. But, I'm a lot less weirded out by age differences after that.

No, I'm sorry, but to me this is weird. However, if the guys were the one 16 years older, I would find that more normal. I really don't know why, but I think quite a few people would agree with me. Young girl+older guy=hot. Young guy + older woman = weird.

Right now, you seem great, worry about that day when it comes, it probably won't seem so strange when you're 60 if you both last that long.

It's unusual but not unheard of. The general rule is half the older person's age plus seven years, so he's right on the line. It can work.

You're a cougar ;) It's normal! Just so long as you love eachother it's all good. The world's got to stop caring about differences - ALL differences - between two happy lovers. Who agrees?

It really depends on what stage of life youre in. Theres a big difference between someone who is 18 and someone who is 34. Whereas, 35 and 51, not so bad. It really depends.
