Is it normal to have a recurring itch in the same place on my back?

For MANY years, I have had a recurring little itch in the same spot on my back. And what makes it worse, is that it is in a spot that I can't reach. I resist the urge to scratch against a door because I think that looks obnoxious, so I just keep itching and it drives me crazy sometimes. IIN?

    Get a back scratcher. You can get some for just a couple of bucks at convenience stores.

    And... have it looked at.

    It could be something as simple as an item of clothing that always fits incorrectly. Or it could be something medical
