This is normal. Menstrual cycle tend to shorten as you age.

  • Well if you're worried about pregnancy you can't really do much to console yourself besides taking a pregnancy test. Once you have that out the way, if your periods and related symptoms are bothering you I suggest you visit a clinic (they're free) and get on the pill. People always give me shit for suggesting the pill for every gyneacological or period related issue a woman complains about but the truth is this is really nothing short of a miracle drug and has so many benefits including reduced risk of ovarian, uterine and cervical cancer aswell as helping in the reduction of a certain chemical that stimulates uterine contractions which are responsible for period pain. Also I noticed in your post you express your concern of pregnancy, so I'm guessing you're in need of reliable birth control anyway.

It sure is. Everyone's cycle is different. Mine is usually 3-4 days, sometimes less. And its always SUPER light. Being super worried about it at first, I asked my doctor, and she confirmed its very normal

I think it's normal. Usually, I don't get it for a couple of months. Or, I get it one right after the previous. :/ I hate when that happens. It comes much too soon that way.

This is normal. Being a day off isn't wrong or abnormal at all, sometimes slight variations occur and it's really nothing to worry about. I'd only worry about it if it were off by more than 6 days but you're fine. Also, you're menstruating which means nothing is wrong with you and you're not pregnant. Pain is normal, I get that at least 75% of all periods as well as headaches and frequent urination. These are all normal period symptoms. Maybe you've never experienced any of these before but you're going to notice sometimes your period will be more intense and other days, not so much.

But are you saying your period only lasted 3 days? That does seem a bit short if that's not your usual length. Mine is usually 4-5 days.
