Is it normal to have a nightmare falling in nothing but darkness

I have a dream twice a year of me falling in nothing but pure darkness. As soon as my fingers touch the ground in this nightmare, I find myself waking up sitting in my bed with cold sweats and my heart beating rapidly. Is this normal?

This is normal and yet not normal. This is a sign that you will die soon. Best of luck!

First of all, the falling dream is almost universal. Many people have had it at 1 time or another. It means a feeling of loss of control in your lif, and also has a sexual component, because on orgasm is the ultimate physical letting go. If they bother you, try programming your own ending. Right before you fall asleep, imagine yourself falling as long as you can stand to, and then sprout imaginary wings, or imagine a helicopter saves you. Turn it into a flying dream, which is the ultimate liberation.
