I understand that many people have fetishes, but I often find myself wondering if mine is a bit more unusual.
I have had a thing for Nazis since I first started learning about them. It wasn't sexual when I was younger; mostly just an extreme fascination with them and the Holocaust. But now that I'm older, I have many, many fantasies about them.
I have only ever told one person about my fetish - my best friend. We were having an 'open discussion' where we can ask each other anything and must be completely truthful. She asked what my fetish was, and when I told her, she acted like it was the most disgusting thing in the world. Since then, I've been too afraid to tell any of my boyfriends (even though they've shared their fetishes with me), not wanting to scare them off.
Is it normal?

    The had an extreme lust for power and perfection. The concentration camps were thier "Behind Closed Doors" alternate lifestyle.

    I can understand why people would react to this (I myself once had a reaction to hearing that many American women used the news of deaths in the Vietnam conflict as a masturbation fantasy. It seemed wrong to be getting pleasure from someone's death).

    However, when you take time to separate fantasy from reality, the factors which draw you into fantasy are usually reasonably common (i.e. power?) Making someone feel bad for something that is quite easily explained is human behaviour, sadly. I don't think your fantasy is even particularly odd.
