Is it normal to have a lucid dream within a dream?

I recently had a dream where I was on the 1st day of school then suddenly I was fast forwarded a week later, where I was in my science class and the teacher was my 3rd grade teacher-she was telling me that we had homework-to my surprise, I learned that I already did pass it. So I did that Inception thing where I tried to remember how I got there and discovered that I cant-as a result, I concluded that it was a dream. Suddenly I woke up in the storage room of our garage (the garage of our condo). I walked out and then I was telling people how cool it was that the thing from Inception actually worked. Suddenly, I woke up again to realize that me waking up from the storage room of the garage was also just a dream.

Lucid Dreams are awesome. In fact, after Lewis Carroll had a Lucid Dream he wrote Alice in Wonderland. :)

I'm sometimes a lucid dreamer, but never had a dream within a dream (at least not with the ones I controlled). My nightmares are occasionally like that, but if it's a nightmare, I have a harder time controlling it for some odd reason. I'm sure I'll figure it out one day.
