Is it normal to have a huge fear of taking pills.???

Even though I rarely need to take pills, i absolutely hate when i do. Id rather deal with the pain. I fear that it wont go down my troat and ill choke to death. Or that after struggling to get it down, that the pill would cause some kind of complication inside my body that would apply only to me because I always felt like I was just born unlucky. Though this might not make the least bit sense, I still wonder if all this is common among people. So, is it?

    its not really normal but it does sound like some sort of phobia (or fear). mabey it will be called pill-o-phobia?

    Thats just like me. I still have issues with doing that. Maybe you should crush the pills and take them that way...I do that sometimes.

    i used to be like that when i was younger. ^_^ ever accidently swallow a tic tac? drink a pill with water, its smoother. dont make any tactics like put it in the corner of your mouth or under your tounge. i did that when i was younger and failed. practice makes perfect dude.
