Is it normal to have a horrible complexion?

The skin on my face just doesn't look good at all. I have red acne scars, circles under my eyes, some redness, my skin is just dull...The only thing I relly have going for me is that I don't have very much acne. I used to though, hence the scarring. I'm not really unattractive, but my awful skin makes me look like it. Is this normal? And does anybody have any tips, besides visiting a dermatologist?

I have acne, too, though it's going away. I'd suggest first finding out your skin type, then find out how to care for your skin type. I agree with the lemon idea, I tried it. Except, don't just "rub your face with lemon." Be gentle and make sure to rub it on your face and neck to even your skin tone. You can also use lemon as an exfoliator if you add sugar or salt on the slice before you use it. You can also substitute real lemon for lemon juice. Squirt some honey onto the palm of your hand, add a drop of lemon juice, and sprinkle it with salt or sugar. Be careful not to use too much lemon. Hope this helps. :)

Argan oil has completely changed my skin. I'm 27 and my skin has never looked this good. 3 drops is all you need for your whole face. It heals acne scars, prevents new acne, moisturizes and primes for makeup.

Rub your face with a lemon at night, leave it on for a bit, then rinse. Also use ST Ives and get plenty of rest.

  • ^^ good advice, try not using soap on your face just lukewarm water to wash. never go to bed with an unwashed face. don't tan and eat the most of green vegetables, salad and green juices. if you are a girl and you wear makeup, cleanse at night with a cleanser rinsed off with warm water. always a clean face on the pillow
