Is it normal to have a high metabolism?

I always had a high metabolism. I never gained any weight. I could eat all day and I could lose weight. I am a. 18 year old male amd weigh only 105 pounds I mostly eat healthy food though. One time I ate a lot of fattening food for a couple days and I didn't gain a single pound. I couldn't play sports because I'm too small.

Your metabolism might slow down when you're older, so make sure you're being healthy.

This ^ I was just like you, never gained a pound from first year of high school to third year of college, no matter how much i ate (and I didn't exercise even for a minute). Then fourth year of college I put on twenty pounds and not because I started eating more, if anything, I ate less. My metabolism just started slowing down.

Eating fattening foods for a few days doesn't always automatically make you gain weight. However, you're very young. It's normal to have a higher metabolism at your age. It may last but don't count on it.
