Headache in the back of the head (especially on awakening in the morning) is often an indication of high blood pressure.

I often get tension headaches that only effect the back of my head. Sinus headaches hit me in the front. But I get a lot of headaches. My husband never gets headaches unless he's been drinking too much or has a bad cold. This doesn't sound abnormal to me.
