Is it normal to have a guilty pleasure for lil wayne's music?

I detest Lil Wayne, although I love his music. Honestly, I think his lyrics are the worst possible, but with all the auto-tuning and the fascinating beats, the music becomes addictive. I feel guilty, not because of other people, but because I know that I myself hate his style (cars, women, and money)... Is it normal to both hate and love his music?

I listen to it just to laugh at it. So, yeah, I guess.

I love listening to Lady Gaga and Ke$ha for the same reasons you listen to Lil Wayne. I don't like them as people and I think the lyrics to most of their songs (Ke$ha's in particular) are detestable, yet I enjoy their music because it's fun to exercise to.

I haven't heard anything by him, but it doesn't sound abnormal. Have you tried finding karaoke versions of the songs if you only like the beats?
Many singers and entertainers have pretty nasty (lying, cheating, drugged up, abusing) lives, but many people listen for the music and the music only. I'm a huge fan of Seethers music right now, but their cd covers and pictures look grungy and like a bunch of 'death metal' old men.
Enjoy the music, ignore the source.
