Is it normal to have a growth in your vagina?

I have this weird growth inside my vagina. I discovered it not too long ago when I was showering. I probed inside and felt a strange, small shaft like object. On the tip of it, it opens up V-shaped like. I don't know if it's a stuck Fallopian tube, or what...?

Sounds like you're finally growing your penis! I remember being confused back then, too. Totally normal.

Do you mean your clitoris? The clitoris is supposed to be there. If you didn't mean the clitoris, see your doctor and he/she will set the facts straight.

lol, yeah. some women have a cervix that sticks out more than others and i guess could be viewed as a protrusion

"On the tip of it, it opens up V-shaped like"

That, combined with your assumptions about fallopian tubes ... suggests that you're very young or very inexperienced in this matter.

I would suggest asking your parents about "the birds and the bees" (aka sex education).

For now though here's a small hint... you cannot reach your fallopian tubes with just your fingers. You would have to reach up past your cervix into your womb and then to the upper side of that.

The chance of these tube "falling" inside ... no. They would have to somehow turn inside out and fall inside, and then somehow make it out past the cervix far enough for you to touch them.... and um no.

if anything that reminds me of 5th grade when we learned about how babies were made. one of the boys asked if a woman's chest could explode like a balloon.

So no, you should be ok.
but if you're still worried ask mom ... see if she can clear things up. perhaps take you to the doctors if you both think it's something wrong with you. however most likely the doctor will just walk you through the female anatomy diagrams.

  • I'm not saying that you got it wrong or anything but do you mean the clitoris? Because it's meant to be there. Sorry if I'm wrong.
