Is it normal to have a grainy vision in the dark

i see a grainy(kinda fuzzy) at dark rooms and dim lighted areas and at night but it doesn't interfere with my vision. is it normal? i have 20/20 vision and yes i see extremely well in the dark because i said it doesn't interfere with my ability to see things and i never see it outdoors in sunlight

p.s:i would appreciate it if you tested it before replying go to a dark room and really concentrate on a wall or something and please answer with yes or no

You may have visual snow. Some have it from birth and for most of their life assume it's normal but others get it later in life or only for a certain amount of time. Its not a very common condition so there isn't a massive amount of info out there as it's something that has only recently become recognised as a condition of its own as for a while it was believed to have been associated with drug use. You should look it up.

Not only that but you might notice that your night vision is a bit better in your peripheral vision.

Try looking at something in the dark about 30 degrees out of your focal point and then look directly at it, you'll find that if the light is just right it'll disappear.

People can see to some degree in the dark. People who have eye issues seem to have more difficulty with it. Not a lot you can do for lack of night vision.
