Is it normal to have a gradeschool-like crush in college?

In highschool I was in a class with a boy that I hardly thought anything of until at some moment there was a 'click'. We often made eye contact across the room and we both had our share of being the one to break it off. I thought he liked me, but he ended up dating this obnoxious girl, then cheating on her with another that was equally obnoxious. That couple had been dating for quite some time. We all graduated and ended up in the same college. I see him every once and a while and I still feel that 'whatever' when I'm around him. Sometimes I think he thinks the same for me, but I'm probably wrong. Anyways, is it strange that I think about him constantly, that I romanticise every interaction? Am I obsessive, or just another foolish girl, or none of the above?

    I've had things like that happen to me. As embarrassing as it is to admit this, I'm 20 and I still get crushes like that. I've gotten it in high school, in college, at work. I get it all the time. I don't know what it is. I don't know if you and I have a little obsession problem, or we are in fact, just foolish girls, haha! Don't know, but I wish I could know. Sorry I can't help ya. Just wanted you to know, you aren't alone.
