Is it normal to have a friend tie you up for a dare?

I was playing a dare game, and there was rope, and I dared my best friend to tie me up. I had to be untied by a stranger, and drew a crowd. Bearing in mind my brain doesn't work like most people's, is this a normal occurrence?

      I do too. Also to OP you wanted to play truth or dare you and your freind got yourself in the problem. Also we always make a rule when we play that we can not dare each other to have sex or do anything past kissing or else its rape.
