Is it normal to have a four-year relationship?

Even if I am only 18? Do you think that we will get married? :-)

What a stupid question. Who the fuck knows.

If she's the only woman you've ever taken to bed, good luck surviving to thirty without either of you straying.

  • Four years? My youth pastor dated his wife for four years, and they are now happily married (at 22). I don't know if it's normal, but that's definitly good. Congratulations, good luck! ;)

Yep normal. U have been together this long which shows devotion and maturity. Marriage could be in the future. As long as u love eachother who cares if it's normal? Talk about marriage if that's what u want. But maybe wait until u finish school and get a steady job before starting a family. But honestlydo what u guys want

Maybe if you have already been together this long, and you love eachother, you should propose. Or if you are a girl, you should bring up the idea of marraige.

There's nothing abnormal about this, you're quite mature if you've already held a 4 year relationship and you're only 18.
And about the marriage thing, I don't really know, but if you keep this relationship going like this, you two are probably bound to get married.

Just the fact that you have to ask shows that even you are uncertain... There are people who get married young and live wonderful lives together. That however is the exception not the norm. You and your boyfriend are the only ones that can answer this question. MY advice go live life be a little selfish in a sense where you focus on what YOU want to do... You have your whole life to be married don't jump into too young.
