The name implies it. I find British accents very attractive. If a guy was extrememly ugly, but had a British accent, I think it makes him at least 10 times more handsome.

I'm an American, and I love Doctor Who. Those accents are awesome. Aren't they real? I also saw a British show called "Secret life of machines" that I really enjoyed. I think you can find eps of that one one YouTube :)

I wouldn't say I have a fetish for it, but I find it sexy as hell, especially on women. LOVE the British accent on women, and I also envy guys with it. IMO it's one of the few accents that sounds both exotic and intelligent, on both men and women.
Almost nobody in Britain speaks like they do in American movies. I never understood why Americans think that we talk like that...
If we all did impressions of American accents in our media, they'd say the same thing. It's flattering that they like something that takes us zero effort to maintain, but it's a shame none of us actually have that accent. Especially Cheryl Cole, who I just knew would be a complete mystery to America. I think Geordies and Scousers have the best regional accents, but they're also the least likely to be heard (or understood) outside of England.

lol like we really speak like hugh grant in nottin hill .....er helllo madam blah blah ..no one talks like that although londoners hav the best accent and dats what i am haha .. id hate to speak american or some other foreign languange english is the best through and through and i also think american chicks accents sound sexy ...its just cause its differant from what your used to

Hey...how come it's OK for british and aussie actors to play americans and speak with fake american-english, but if an American actor speaks with a fake british accent the whole world goes nuts??????

Lmao, I don't have a FETISH, but everytime I try to think of a dialog in english in my head (I'm not american/english) I always think it in a ridiculous british accent. I used to be disgusted by them but now they just seem so civilized and hilarious. (The accents, not british people.)
