Is it normal to have a dream within a dream?

*Inception Noise*

I once had a dream in which I had a lucid dream, woke up from that in the same location but years later and was trying to work out what happened in that last dream, then woke up! (very short version!)

I never had once but I think that was just awesome :D

I have had this happen all the time normally when I wan to wake up. I dream very detailed that I woke up continued my daily stuff. In reality thirty minutes passed I was late for school and my mother was pissed

Yes, this happens to me sometimes too. Its normal.

There's a film called "Inception" where everything is a dream within a dream. How fitting to film it in Paris! Another film with a somewhat similar plot is "Paprika". Back to question, its normal, I've had a lot of dreams like this,

Once. It was scary because I "woke up" and walked into my living room and a wolf came at me. I falsely woke up twice.

I would probably explode. Hmm... I'll see what I can do.
