Is it normal to have a dream like this??

Last night me and my friends were messing with an ouija board for fun. When I went home that night I fell asleep and I faintley remember waking up beacuse I wanted a glass of Diet Pepsi. When I got up I felt very strange. All of a sudden I was shoved to the chair next to my bed and I couldn't move. I look in the bed and I see myself sleeping. Then I also see this black cloud like matter moving closer to my sleeping self. I still couldnt move a muscle. Just as soon as the black cloud like thing was inches away from my face I woke up screaming. What does this dream mean? HELP!

Well, if you saw yourself sleeping, you might have experienced, unintentionally, a sense of astral projection. This is basically when you knowingly or unknowingly spiritually leave your body. Some people around the world practice it in their normal lives, other times there are cases where someone activates it and doesn't know exactly how. IF you believe in spirits and the use of ouija boards, it's often believed that they are used like door ways or windows to the spiritual world. Lost spirits that haven't "crossed over" wouldn't mind looking for another shell to encompass. Kind of like in the movie "Insidious", except that may have been a bit exaggerated. Hope this helped. Joe Average (the comment above mine) is pretty much a sum up of what I'm trying to get at. In a sense, it actually would be possession if this black cloud actually went into your body. You just have to be careful with things like that. With normal demonic/entity possession, you're talking about something inhabiting your body while you're still in it. During an astral projection, you have left your shell and if you leave it for too long the link between you and the body becomes weaker over time, allowing someone or something else to go and take it over. This, of course is just a theory. Don't fear it, look into it and research more and just be careful.

      out of body experience, yes.
I think the black thing may have been the spirit you were "talking" that day.
I've been thinking about Ouija for a while, and It does actually sound more exciting now hhahahaa...

I bought a ouija board a long time ago. I'm gothicy, and things like that interest me. Although initially I bought it just as a display for my wall, but one day I got very bored, and tried it out. I kept getting the same two letters, T K,maybe it was someone's initials, or something like that. Nothing much else. I put it away and went to bed, and had the creepiest realistic dream about walking around my house doing normal things, while this man was walking about, hiding sometimes, creeping me out, and then getting mega close to me so I got scared and very uncomfortable. No one else could see him, and I think he was a ghost or something, who knows.

What you experienced by looking at yourself asleep while you slept is called astral projection. Your spirit self was looking at your body sleeping. You should not have played with a ouija board- you brought something back with you that's clearly interested in your vulnerable, sleeping, empty body.
    Good luck with that!

  • It's not a dream, it's the first stage of a haunting or possibly posession.
