Is it normal to have a dream like this?

I had this strange dream before,and I need help interpreting it.
I was young. In my dream I was naked. The whole world was completely and utterly dark, but I could see myself and the ground just fine. The ground was covered in small, oval, grey pebbles. I was walking around in circles for a while, when I came across one perticular pebble. It looked no different from the others, but, it had this vibe to it. When I held it, it becamse the most important, most significant thing, ever. It was like I was holding existance in my hand, and I could FEEL it. It was the most intence emotion I have ever felt, and the more I held the pebble, the more the feeling grew...Then I'd wake up.
I'd try go back to sleep again so I could find this pebble, but the dream would be different.
I've had this dream several times, and I don't understand it!
Is this normal? Help!

    I really like this dream. There is something very beautiful about it. I am always intrigued with repeating dreams. I know you're looking for other's ideas, but what do YOU think it means?

      I've tought about that for a long time, and I can't figure it out!
      The dream is like walking in a My Bloody Valentine songs, it's so...different from other dreams, because it doesn't reflect upon reality, it's just, created from nothing! It confuses me.

    Well in your dream, you're basically finding something in nothing so I would say that that sounds like your looking for something that's more of a concept than an actual tangible thing. And you say it made you feel "existence"... do you think maybe its about you valuing your life knowing that in the grand scheme of things its really only a brief minute. Or is it about you wanting to feel a part of something bigger, like you are important in the universe? I don't know if I've really helped, but those are my ideas.

      That does help a huge ammount, I like how people are taking this seriously, because it does frustrate me a great deal.
      Maybe it has something to do with hopeless of futile feelings? Or maybe it's telling me I need to do something. But what?
