Is it normal to have a double chin but not be fat?

I'm 112 pounds, a teenager, a female, and stay very active. I try to eat right everyday and to not over eat. But I have a double chin that I just can't get rid of! Is it normal that any fat on my body just goes to my face and nowhere else?!

Submandibular fat is highly dependent upon genetic factors. They've recently developed an injectible that's said to "dissolve" the cell walls of the adipose tissue. I suppose it must be fairly safe, but it sounds iffy to me.

When I was skinny I had a bit of a double chin. Now I'm fat and it's even bigger. :D

Bad genetics. You must have very pale skin cuz that only happens to very pale people.

Maybe you have a thyroid problem, not to scare you.

Usually it's inherited. When you're older you could have surgery if you really want to.

It's normal. I have a friend who is skinny, but has chubby cheeks and a double chin. She hates her face, but I think it's cute.

  • Yeah its normal. Stay away from medications. those can really make your cheeks chubby.

Yes. If you were a boy you could grow a beard, but since it's not as becoming on a girl, just accept your genetics and make the best of your other features. Don't worry too much about it. ;)

Yes it's normal. When some people gain fat, it's just in a certain area. There was a celebrity who said he only gains fat in the face and no where else too. Pear shaped people gain weight in their thighs and buttocks and others only on their arms etc..

I'm not sure but a girl at my school is extremely skinny and had like literally 5 chins and huge chubby cheeks, I'm not sure if she's sick or something though
