Is it normal to have a discolored body?

I'm not making a big deal out of it, but the color of my body is pretty odd and it's making me feel insecure about myself. My arms are really tanned (my left arm is darker since I drive a lot,) my face is white, my boobs are white, my belly is a little tanned but still light, my thighs are light, my legs are tanned but from behind, they're white, and my feet are white. Is this normal? I'm sorry, im just insecure.

Sounds like just different parts of your body hit the sun more than others I could be wrong though if its not hurting you and you really don't care then don't do anything but if it worries you talk to your doc about it

This is normal and not considered "discolored" in my opinion. How much of a difference in color though?

I get that too. My face & arms are tanner than everything else on my body. But my inner arms are fair, its just the outer part of my arms where the sun hits the most.

Yeah I get that too. Mostly because the lighter parts of my body are the least exposed to the sun. To minimize this you should really be wearing sun block if you don't already, or just cover up (pants, long sleeves).

You could go the other way and lay out in the sun wearing a bikini and then you'd get an all over tan, but I would never ever suggest that as a solution to anyone because I have someone in my family whom developed melanoma from using tanning beds and sun tanning without sunblock in the 80's.

I prefer to cover up with light breathable fabrics on my body because I find sunblock too greasy and then I buy make up with SPF for my face. I'm still "discolored" though, so I think it's normal. As long as one's skin in healthy is the main thing, skin coloration is otherwise meaningless.

If you do have some areas that are looking too tanned that's never a good thing and you should protect those areas! :)

You have what's called a "Worker's Tan". Totally normal.
