Yesh. I'm extremely shy in real life, but because you can't see me, I'm outgoing and crazy and other stuff.
I think I'm the same but I communicate better through typing than speech.
I'm mostly myself online. Admittedly I hold back with humour, creativity, and expressiveness because I feel awkward about showing that side of myself here or on other sites. I also give my opinions more often online than in real life (I'm a bit shy).
Of course.. I am a bit more confident online and online you can just go to random people and say hi. How well would that work in any other circumstance? I often imitate cartoon/show characters I admire.
Yes, it's normal. When people don't think they have to behave a certain way, they'll act however they like.
The internet makes me seem so much more intelligent and outgoing. It's quite addictive.
I don't think that you have a different personality. Unless you intentionally make one up. For example like catfish or w.e. But for me, I can say that I kinda do. Well I talk more through texting/messaging/emailing than in person. So the real me who is not so held back and not shy can text etc. But if you meet me in person, I have the same personality, just a little more reserved and shut and all that. Well if Im meeting new ppl. But ya. Get me?
