Is it normal to have a crush on your step sister?

So this girl came into my live at a sledding party and I saw her and immediately thought she was beautiful. And then our parents started dating but my feelings for her never changed. Now our parents are married but I still think she's beautiful. I always wish I was the one who could hold her, be her shoulder to cry on, just hangout and have fun with her. She's always upbeat and has a smile when I see her and she makes my days brighter but idk. Just help me out please. Idk what to think if I'm just some freak or what.

    You find the girl very attractive in many ways, she came into your life at a time when you're interested in girls, she's around all the time and you're not genetically related.

    Given all that, I think you'd be weird NOT to have a crush on her.

    Be very careful what you do about this, though. You don't give your ages, so that could be a problem in itself. Nor do you say whether she's in a relationship, which would make a huge difference.

    Sex with step-siblings is not incest, since there is no blood relationship. However, anything more than a brother-sister relationship between you two could easily cause tensions between your parents.

      I think pretty much the same. If an attractive girl comes into your life who has no actual relationship with you then you are as likely to crush over her as over anyone else and that's normal. But now you do have a kind of relationship with her and you need to think very carefully about that before you do anything that could turn out really bad for everyone in your house. I'm all for looking at things in a positive light but some kinds of risks are not worth the taking.

      We are both 16 and she does have a boyfriend and has had some kthers but they never last long. Like a month or two at max
