Is it normal to have a crush on someone else than your boyfriend?

I have the best boyfriend in the world and I love him with all my heart, I would never want to let him go because I just know we're perfect for eachother. He's the best I've ever had and I don't know what to do without him..

But.. Since two weeks or so I'm sort of crushing on another guy from my school. I honestly hate myself for it and know I could forget him if I didn't have to see him anymore, but that's exactly the problem. I seem him everyday and it drives me crazy.

Is it normal that I crush on someone else, and has anybody had the same experience? I would highly appreciate a normal, honest answer.

    I try to ignore it, but it's pretty hard because I see him everyday. :/

    It's normal as long as you ignore and reject the feelings every time they come up and remember that there's a difference between lust and love. Both of you will always think other people are attractive , but don't screw up a good relationship. Imagine how you'd feel if HE liked your bestie.

    iv been with my boyfriend for about 4 years now and i love him to pieces but I recently have a crush on his best friend. I think its not uncommon and just as long as you know the difference between a crush and love I think you wil be fine.
