I'd never do anything with them, I'm not even sure this is a crush. I hardly know the man, but he fascinates me. Maybe its just a "want what you can have" thing.

Is it normal to have a small crush at some point on your significant others best friend? And why?

    completely normal. the more you spend time with people, the more you get to know and like them.

    Absolutely normal. The more time you spend with someone, the more likely you are to like that person. Also, maybe the best friend has some personality traits that you admire in your boyfriend. As long as you don't start to fall in love with this guy and/or cheat on your boyfriend, this should be fine.
