I'm sorry if a million people have already made posts very similar to this but I legitimately have a crush on Professor Snape from Harry Potter. I cannot get him out of my mind and get sad when I remember that he doesn't even exist. Then I get even more sad because I feel dumb for feeling depraved from a character that I've never met. I just feel weird for liking him so much.

    A crush almost by definition is fictitious. I remember having a crush on a girl in college and then I found out she was as faulty as everybody else. She might as well have been a fictional character because my impression was idealistic. And a crush is looking at an idealistic view at someone, the only difference is your idealistic view won't be destroyed by reality.

    It’s normal to be attracted to fictional characters but weird to be that obsessed. Just focus on finding friends/a partner in the real world

      Thank god, I felt like a weirdo for liking him. The obsessive part might just be from rewatching Harry Potter pretty recently. I have had a relationship and a few crushes on real people at school but I just haven't really wanted to date any of them long term so we just stay friends/strangers lol. Thank you for commenting :)

    Most people do at some point. I used to watch Xena: Warrior Princess, and had a huge crush on the hot, gorgeous blonde villian, Callisto (Hudson Leick). Even watching a quick scene with her got me going. So beautiful, such a hot body, and the costumes they put her in always showed off her tight, tanned tummy and bulging cleavage. I had it bad for her.

        Snarry is disturbingly popular considering how distasteful the age difference is. In more innocent days I mistook it for a joke.

      I'm not even attracted to girls and I understand 100%. Harley Quinn is hot as hell!! I love her tight clothes and cute hat she wears in the comics :)
