Is it normal to have a crush like this?

I just started uni and my tutor is so hot...he's just my type, blonde , military haircut,muscular,chiseled features..and he's so nice and cute. I instantly had a crush on him. Now the crush is still here, I can't wait till friday so I can attend his class. But unlike my other crushes this one isn't so intense. It's like I won't get jealous if he has a girlfriend, or feel sad at all. It's just a tiny little crush which i guess now has become part of my motivation...
