Is it normal to have a "bubble" under my tongue?

Every so often, a tiny little "bubble" type thing will appear on the underside of my tongue. It's not really clear, but not completely opaque;it's almost like a blister or something, but I don't think it's a blister. Anyways, it hurts until you pop it. This has been happening for the longest time. Almost as long as I can remember.

Has anyone but me experienced this? Do anyone of you know what it is?

I get this every once in a blue moon. Stop popping it, because it will naturally go away with time. If you pop it you're just inviting infection into the open wound.

I'm not sure what it really is though, to be truthful. :/

Clean your mouth more. Use mouth-wash and toothpaste and don't touch it, leave it to heal.

Sounds a little like a mouth ulcer, although typically these can't really be popped, they're white sores. If that's not what it is, I have no idea :/

I think it could be an irritated taste bud. Do you eat lots of sour candies, citrus fruit, salty or spicy food or hot soups?

I've gotten it before too, but I suggest you leave it alone. Don't fuss with it and it should go away. If you get them very often or it doesn't go away you should tell your Doctor.

I'd be surprised medical doctors browse this site often. Why don't you get an appointment with your doctor.

A cyst maybe? Don't let it get infected.
