Ok, so I know this borders on being pointless to ask, but I'd rather have the opinion of the interwebz before I go through with it. I'm an 18 year old male dating a 27 year old male, and I'm thinking of going all the way with him sometime soon. Any thoughts? Is this completely and utterly messed up or is it normal?
Oh god I didn't know this site was full of fundamentalist Christians... damn. OK 1: I do not plan to marry him, I'm just having a summer relationship/fling 2: I'm a fag, and I don't want to hear the sex before marriage thing. According to bullshit Christian laws, I'm already going to hell... so I'm not too concerned about further angering your "god". BTW if you hadn't noticed, it is very hard to get married gay in America anyway.

You wrote that you are a guy in your post; I was surprised that the others didn't pick up on that.
Go for it, but if he ever makes you feel bad or you think he might be manipulating you - leave him. Set your boundaries for yourself before you get deep into a relationship with him. Good luck.

Its legal. If youre really into him id say its ok. Just remember theres the possibility that he would find someone his own age and same maturity level. But hey.. Give it a shot.
Dude that's messed up he was like 9 when u were born! That just really creepy!! But hey if u love him u love him just make sure he's not a creeper or anything! :P
Seriously, age really doesn't matter when it comes to relationships. Just make sure you actully love him and have given it thought on whether or not this is what you want to do.

Don't think for a moment that age doesn't matter. If you marry him, you will have to be his age. He will be more vulnerable than you. You will have to plan your whole life around his illnesses. He will be jealous of your youth. You will have to work after he retires. I am living with that "age doesn't matter" philosophy right now. We can't dance b/c his feet hurt. We can't go to a movie b/c he can't hear.
We can't plan a vacation b/c we don't know when he will have to have surgery AGAIN. He had a heart attack in New Zealand and he nearly DIED. It's a
nightmare. Run, run fast away from him.
It will start to matter when he's in his forties.
